These pictures are created with three colors only - that is, with two shades each of blue, red and yellow. I use Stockmar Watercolors exclusively.
The images develop as layers of thinly diluted paint are applied to wet paper.
I am inspired by the work of Liane Collot d’Herbois, an artist grounded in Anthroposophy, and learned much from her understanding of light, darkness and color. Monica Gold, art therapist in West Vancouver, has been an exceptional teacher.
Blockmounting preserves the painting “as if still wet”.
